Strategic expansion builds on recent leadership appointment to drive growth in airline and travel sectors
CellPoint Digital, a global leader in Payment Orchestration, today announced a significant expansion of its revenue team, including an enhanced account management function. This strategic move builds upon the recent appointment of Mark Patrick as Chief Revenue Officer, further strengthening the company's commitment to serving the unique needs of the airline and travel industries.
Strategic Team Expansion
The expansion sees the creation of a dedicated account management team led by Inaki Lopez, Global Head of Account Management, who reports directly to Mark Patrick. This development aims to leverage CellPoint Digital's deep expertise in the airline and travel sectors to provide tailored payment solutions and strategies for merchants worldwide.

Focus on Travel Industry Expertise
The enhanced account management team will focus on optimising payment strategies for airlines, online travel agencies (OTAs), and other travel-related businesses, ensuring seamless implementation of solutions that address the unique challenges of the sector.

Strengthening the Team
As part of the expansion, CellPoint Digital has also brought on board industry experts Anna Almqvist and Luis Morales, both bringing extensive experience in travel payments and airline business to further strengthen the account management team for EMEA and Latin America respectively.
Anna Almqvist has a career spanning over 20 years supporting airlines with defining and executing their payment strategies. She has held key positions at industry leaders such as Amadeus, SITA, and most recently, T2RL. Her vast experience makes her an invaluable asset to the account management function, ensuring successful partnerships and optimal payment solutions for clients in the EMEA region.
Luis Morales brings almost two decades of combined experience from both the airline and IT provider perspectives. His unique background includes roles at avianca as an Inventory Manager and at Amadeus as a Customer Success Manager, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the travel industry's needs. In his new role, Luis will focus on securing longstanding partnerships with Latin American travel companies while driving forward their payment optimization strategies.
